You installed the game, hit the level, closed it with a sense of achievement, and your Coin balance did not budge. Before you write off the effort or post an angry review, run through this guide. A reward that has not been credited almost always has an explainable cause, and most of them can be fixed. The examples below use CashBoo, but the same logic applies to nearly every rewards app with offerwalls and surveys.
How a reward normally reaches you
Knowing the chain helps you spot where it broke. When you finish an offer, the advertiser's system records the completion and sends a confirmation message, called a postback, to the rewards app. Only when that message arrives does the app add Coins to your balance. If any link in that chain is slow or broken, the Coins do not appear. Our guide to what an offerwall is explains why rewards depend on this verified signal.
Quick diagnosis: which case are you?
- Finished only a few minutes or hours ago? It is probably still travelling.
- Not sure you completed every step? It may be a partial completion.
- Was a VPN or ad-blocker on? Tracking may have failed.
- Switched phones or accounts mid-task? The completion may be tied to the wrong account.
- Did the task inside a different app? The reward lives in that app.
Case 1: it is still on its way
Postbacks are not always immediate. Some arrive within minutes, others take a few hours, depending on the advertiser. Most offers show an expected crediting time on their card. Until that time has passed, a missing reward is usually pending rather than lost, so give it the stated window before doing anything else.
Case 2: one step was missed
Offers pay for the full goal, not effort along the way. If the card said reach level 10 and you stopped at 8, or a survey tab closed before the final Submit, the advertiser has nothing to confirm. Re-read the offer's requirements. If a step is still open, finishing it will often trigger the reward.
Case 3: a VPN or ad-blocker blocked tracking
Tracking needs your install and activity to be recorded correctly. VPNs and ad-blockers can hide that activity from the advertiser, so the completion never registers. Switch both off before you start any offer. This tracking is disclosed, not hidden: Google requires every app to describe what it collects in its Play Store data safety section.
Case 4: a different account or device got involved
Say a student starts an offer on her own phone, then finishes it on her brother's. The advertiser sees two different devices and may not match the completion to her account. Duplicate accounts cause a similar problem: apps allow one account per person, and rewards linked to extra accounts are commonly held. Use one account on one device from start to finish.
Case 5: you earned it somewhere else
Every rewards app keeps its own separate balance. If you completed a task in another app, or on a website that looked similar, those points stay there and will never show up in CashBoo. Check that the offer was opened from inside CashBoo itself.
Fixing it: the order of steps
- 1. Wait for the crediting time listed on the offer.
- 2. Re-read the requirements and complete any step you skipped.
- 3. Confirm you used one account on one device, with no VPN or ad-blocker.
- 4. Take a screenshot showing the completed goal and note any offer or transaction ID.
- 5. If the Coins still have not arrived, contact support with those details.
What to include in your support message
Support can look up the postback record only if they can find your attempt. Send your registered phone number or email, the exact name of the offer, the date and approximate time you completed it, the screenshot and any ID shown. A message with all of this in it can usually be checked in one go, and if the task was genuinely completed the reward can be credited. The CashBoo FAQ also answers common questions.
Earning issue or payout issue?
These get mixed up often. If Coins never reached your balance, it is an earning issue, covered above. If your Coins were deducted for a redemption but the money has not arrived yet, that is a payout question: UPI payouts are reviewed and usually arrive within 72 hours, and gift cards usually within a few hours. See how long a reward app payout takes for details.
When it is not a glitch at all
The vast majority of missing rewards are timing or setup problems. The exception is an app that never pays anyone, collects tasks or fees and then disappears. That is fraud, not a support matter, and it should be reported on the Government of India's National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.
Frequently asked questions
I completed the offer. Why are my Coins missing?
Most often the advertiser's confirmation has not arrived yet. Other common causes are an unfinished step, a VPN or ad-blocker blocking tracking, switching devices or accounts, or completing the task in a different app.
How long should I wait before contacting support?
Wait for the crediting time shown on the offer; many rewards arrive within minutes to a few hours. If that time has passed and your Coins still have not appeared, contact support with proof.
Can points from another app be moved to CashBoo?
No. Each app has its own balance, so rewards earned elsewhere stay in that app. Make sure you start offers from inside CashBoo.
What proof helps support credit a missing reward?
Your registered phone number or email, the offer name, the date and time you finished, a screenshot of the completed goal and any offer or transaction ID. With these, support can trace the record.
